Winter Sports Guide 2007

So, my apologies for failing to update, even though no one really reads this anyway. Things got a little away from me the last week and a half or so at work, plus I'm incredibly lazy. I'm going to continue the theme of sports guide covers in honor of Seth leaving The Bulletin, so without further ado, here's the Winter Sports Guide cover of 2007, and another special surprise for the lack of updates.

As usual, Krystle shot the photo for the cover. We were going for something similar to the Fall Sports Guide, since we were tired and lazy and under the gun. There was a lot of pizza that day, as well as a lot of drinking. We actually had a better idea that got vetoed because of time restraints. Maybe I'll clean that one up and post it it for comparison, but probably not until at least the Spring Guide.

Below is the cover (top half above the fold) of the paper from the night before the mayoral primary last May in Philly. For anyone unaware, pretty much whomever wins the democratic nod in the primary is going to win any election in Philadelphia, as it is completely unheard of for a Republican to win this season. If you're confused by this, watch the first half of the 4th season of The Wire and pay attention to the politics of it. Basically the same thing, except our current mayor actually might be worse than that dude.
